If you are ready to embark on an exciting fitness experience, then Aerobic Kickboxing at Milan Tae Kwon Do is the program for you. The class is challenging for those at all fitness levels, so don't think it's beyond your reach. Whether your goals are weight loss, muscle development, or just fun in exercise, the Aerobic Kickboxing program at Milan Tae Kwon Do will help you reach them. Aerobic kicking and punching are excellent ways to bring your heart rate up, burn calories and develop flexibility. Few other activities compare in overall physical development. Each student is encouraged to work at his or her own fitness level and gradually step up. The class is designed with both low and high intensity options so everyone can benefit and each can work at his or her own pace. For those students demanding higher fitness levels, do not underestimate the challenge that exists in this program.

The program is broken into three (3) segments which are listed and explained below:

Segment One The first 20 minutes is dedicated to warm up and stretch and gradually progresses to an elevated level of kicking and punching. This segment is done with music, easy choreography and increases in pace as time moves forward. By segment end, your heart rate is up and you should be entering your target fitness zone.
Segment Two The next segment is dedicated to bag work only. Each student works kicking and punching on a bag, with music and direction from the instructor. This segment of the class can be difficult, and if done with maximum effort, is a demanding 20 minutes. However each student is encouraged to work at their own pace and is challenged in a way that maximizes the benefits of this portion of the program.
Segment Three The last segment involves strength training and cool down. Time is spent on resistance training with hand held weights to develop the arms, legs and abdominals. Each of these muscle groups is worked in every class and the student determines their level of intensity. Focus on core strength development is regular in the program and essential to overall physical fitness.

The instructor for the program is Tanya Panizzo and she is dedicated to bringing you a quality fitness program that makes you never want to miss a class. Stop by and check it out or call for more information. We can't wait to see you!
